Chiang Rai Walking Street

Chiang Rai Saturday Walking Street takes place every Saturday in the city center along Thanalai Road. The area around Tung and Khom Park is one of the main highlights of the walking street, offering visitors a chance to enjoy local food, shopping, cultural products, handicrafts, and traditional Chiang Rai atmosphere.
The recommended walking route starts at the Nong Si Chaeng / Si Koet traffic-light intersection, continues along Thanalai Road and passes Tung and Khom Park, before ending at the Trairat Road traffic-light intersection.
The route is approximately 800 meters long.
Visitors can enjoy Northern Thai food, snacks, desserts, drinks, handmade crafts, clothing, souvenirs, OTOP products, local products, and various community activities.
The walking street is especially enjoyable in the evening and is a great place to experience local culture, taste Northern Thai cuisine, shop for souvenirs, and explore the historic center of Chiang Rai. The walking street is also close to Tung and Khom Park and the famous Chiang Rai Clock Tower.
